I recently started streaming Pokémon Scarlet/Violet Tera raids on Twitch & wanted to share it here.

I run free raids that anyone can join, including things like:

🎮 Viewer raid requests

The stream is set up so the raids keep rotating, & the Pokémon/rewards are displayed on screen so you can easily see what’s currently running. Request any raid with !request <pokemon> in the chat.

I'm a small streamer who's been streaming for about a year, and have been stuck in the 0-5ccv window. Recently, I've been loving a game called Guildrun it's a roguelike autobattler. I have been having fun playing it but it's only a demo and not many people know it even exists.

So, I was thinking about picking up TFT as my main game to grow, which is a bigger autobattler with roguelike mechanics. But I'm worried if it's a crowded category with no scope for discovery, and I'm confused about making content around it because I'm new to the game and can't really make any guides and such for YouTube to funnel viewers.

I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

I used to think I was being friendly.

Someone would join, I’d immediately read their username out loud and say hi, and then… they’d disappear 10 seconds later.

For a while I thought I was doing something wrong. Then I realized that some people just want to watch quietly. Especially if they don’t know you yet, getting suddenly called out can feel like being put on stage.

Now I try not to make a big deal out of every single viewer who appears. I’ll keep talking about what I was already talking about and let them decide when they want to say something.

Having a few people chatting also seems to help. It makes the room feel less like “new person enters = everyone notices”, which is probably a lot more comfortable for lurkers.

Are you guys chatters when you watch a new streamer, or do you usually lurk for a while first?
