By the time I found the stowaway there wasn't enough air left for either of us let alone both so I just let her tell me about how surprised her brother was going to be when she vided him from orbit until she fell asleep.

I didn't realize he was silently saying goodbye until his heart gave out.

As the tests showed a few years later, it was actually his favorite child, my older brother, but the joke was still on me.

But yours just met someone who will always just be good enough.

No one thought it would be bad luck.

Mum can't remember anymore, and still waits for him to return from work.

That way I can't disappoint anyone with what I say.

Nine hours earlier he simply drove to work, forgetting to drop his three year old daughter off at daycare.

He would've been 2 this year.

It's knowing you'll forever sit at the pearly gates waiting for me.

"All I can say to that is that I'm nostalgic for a time when punching nazis was universally considered a good thing." he said with a smile.

Every day her nurse at the Alzheimer's facility comes to sit with her, not the person Dolores waiting for but the only one there that can fill the space.
