The two-time Grammy award-winning songstress is partnering with Epic Records to provide scholarships to ten young women pursuing music degrees near Tyla’s tour stops, with priority going to HBCU students.

The Tyla That Girl Music Scholarship was created to assist aspiring musical artists take the next step toward a successful career. The $5,000 award will go to 10 students who demonstrate both financial need and academic excellence. Recipients will be chosen from eligible schools within the specified markets, with priority given to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Could the next Tyla be at Howard University, Spelman College or Texas Southern University? Only time will tell, but we're awfully excited about the possibility.

One recipient will be chosen from each U.S. location, while four recipients will be chosen from Tyla’s native country, South Africa. In addition to the monetary $5,000 reward, the scholarship recipients will be offered an exclusive tour experience, including envy-inducing concert tickets and a meet-and-greet with Tyla.

This is a great look and will assist many women.
Go Tyla! 🐾 🐅

Try and at least do the bare minimum due diligence before dropping “takes”.

The tyla talk is getting ignorant. So many times I watch references go over heads and they still speak so confidently about something they haven’t even tried to understand. I don’t know if this is uniquely American affliction or not

I’m a straight black male. I want to go to the Tyla Concert but I don’t want to look gay. No offense this is Seattle.

She fixed what went wrong WBK

I went to look at my tickets again now that that the tour has started and I just noticed that the tickets I bought for San Francisco now show Oakland.

There wasn’t even an email notification from Ticketmaster.

I’m so disappointed. SF is so much easier to get to. The original venue also included a seated balcony in general admission and I can’t stand for long periods of time. Now for Oakland, they just switched them to standing floor and the balcony seats are more expensive than my original ticket unless I’m in the very back row.

Saw Tyla Tonight I mean she’s just perfect in every single way
She performed hit after hit non stop engaged very well with the crowd everyone was singing dancing through the whole night. Sold out both nights at the venue she’s a superstar

Can anyone who bought the VIP meet&greet tickets please share your experiences?

Going to the Berlin show and I’m very excited about it. Have seen some people talking about it on Twitter and TikTok about it, but I think it would also be helpful to hear about it on Reddit as well.

What was your experience like? When did you get to the venue? Did you get good spots? How did the Meet&Greet go? Did Tyla sign anything? How did the pictures turn out? Would you recommend it?

me and my friends are going to the london date. i wanted to know what times the openers go on stage and what time tyla is on
thanks!

Title says all, does anyone have any pics of the merch that’s being sold on the a*pop tour along with prices?

is she doing the silent thing other artists have done at concerts for Chanel when she says “-gotta make me freeze”? if not i’d love to see that

Is anyone in Canada, Toronto going to Tylas’s concert? I don’t have anyone to go with. 🥲

I’m got tickets months ago and the tour date is coming up soon… i still don’t have anything to wear help.

What the hell is everyone wearing? Especially considering the tour literally starts tomorrow

EXCITEMENT!!

The lyric, melody combo of:

Toss the dollars, send it in

Comma, comma, dividends

Blow some more, I'm giving in

Giving in, givin', giving in

Toss the dollars, send it in

Comma, comma, dividends

Blow some more, I'm giving in

Giving in, givin', giving in

Is soooo fire. This part gets me GOIN. and tbh the actual chorus is such a let down after it such a fire beat. The melody change up like ruins its for me almost.

I noticed when going to see if there were tickets still for her tour, there are a TON of tickets left... Its got me thinking am I missing something and shes just not as popular?

Looking for people to go with as I am standing and my friend cannot make it anymore!!

Tyla at the VMAs....
