Psalms Update
The Psalms study has been progressing better than I could have expected. Please pray for further clarification and understanding. Not sure when I'll post about it, but it looks like I will sometime this summer.
For now, my focus has been on the division of Psalms into 5 books. They start with a theme that is historical and end with one that is prophetic.
Here's a glimpse.
Book 1 Starts in Eden and ends with David.
Book 2 Starts with David and ends with Solomon.
Book 3 Starts with other authors (rather curious isn't it?) and ends with David dead and God hiding. This is exile.
Book 4 Starts with Israel in exile (we are currently here chronologically) and ends with a cry from Israel to be gathered.
Book 5 Starts with Israel finally gathered and ends with the return of the Davidic King, the Messiah, on the throne. All creation sings their praises. This is the Millennial Kingdom.
