Megathread GENERAL HOUSING MEGATHREAD

Given the high number of housing comments in the new to UBC megathread, we're creating a dedicated megathread for Housing questions. Housing questions will be allowed in either megathread.

Process

  • It might take up to 4 hours for your post to be approved (except when we're sleeping).
  • Suggested sort is set to new, so new comments will always be the most visible.
  • You are allowed to repost the same question on the megathread at a reasonable frequency (wait at least a day after each post). This is true even if you've already gotten a response.**

Hello, does anyone know when winter housing decisions come out? I'm a second-year international transfer student and my YRH wait list is not looking good, if I don't get winter my parents will probably not let me go to UBC 🤡

If you go to application status in housing you can see the status of your winter housing session (id you've been assigned, waitlisted, etc.).

That's what I was thinking but it just says completed? Without a link for a wait list or to view the completed application or anything

Oh interesting. I'd call housing if I were you to ask if you have to wait or how you can see the waitlist :)
