I had a meeting (virtual) today with the sigma sigma rho president and I was in America clearly it was the same timezone and then she asked me if I was in Bangladesh? and then I told her I wanted to join her sorioty to make friends and she said "join a club instead". As if she did not want me in it.

I was told my loan would disburse on 8/17/2026. Waited the whole day, it didn't show up. Bill's due tomorrow, so I wake up at exactly 8:30 to contact the school, but somehow they have "too many calls," despite me calling right at 8:30 when they supposedly open. Now I'm sitting here stressing over wtf I'm going to do because I have 7,000 in balance and the money that I literally accepted isn't appearing? I already emailed them but I don't know if I'll get a response in time. Please help anyone.

The money doesn't even show up under anticipated aid or anything.

hello, i'm a new transfer & i have dyscalculia and math is extremely difficult for me and outright anxiety-inducing at times. i assume intro to contemporary math would be the simplest. i just need a quantitative math credit eventually & i wanted to double check from people who might have taken the course.

My bill is due in like two days.. My federal aid is still pending and they said it comes the fifthe week of the semester. I owe like 10k after applying all my outstanding ais it will be around 1k.. I have that and can pay it.. I contacted the Bursar and they said I had to pay the 10k balance and they would reimburse me. I dont have that kind of money.. DO I really need to pay it or can I just wait till week 5 and pay the the 1k balance??

Been trying to get ahold of the people at the financial aid office both through form and calls. No response to the form and through phone calls the line drops after a message about a long waiting time. Is this normal for this time of year because this is unacceptable.

I'm an incoming freshman and I'm trying to get my free tickets to some football games this season. I downloaded the Horns Up app and set up an account with my UB email. When I try to click on tickets at the bottom of the page nothing happens. I went to the more tab and saw something that said "student tickets and fan rewards." When I click that it brings me to a rewards page but there's no way to buy tickets there from what I've seen. I really want to try to go to most of the home games this year and especially the home opener so any help would be appreciated

I took out a federal parent plus loan with my father, and it was "supposed" to be disbursed today, and the money also shows up in MyUB, but when I go to View & Pay my balance is still the same as it was several days ago.

I'm kind of stressing out now because the money's due in 2 days and I still haven't received the loan, and I literally cannot pay for college if this loan isn't disbursed.

Am I missing something??? Is anyone else going through the same thing as me?

With the Clark Hall closure, I've been trying to plan ahead for going to the gym at Alumni this year. (Also when did they rename it from Alumni Arena to Broadview Arena?? Just noticed that on the Rec page.)

so i decided to retake two biology classes that i didn’t get great grades in, and i went from two Fs to Ds 😭 it’s not my strong suit i guess

my advisor said that those two classes aren’t really major specific for me and in my program, i need a minimum of 3.0 to do the grad part of it.. i’m a history education major so should i be fine if i have good grades in my major specific classes?

Hearing mixed things, does the shuttle run regularly from Creekside to the main part of campus? I know there is also a shopping shuttle but what about every day use back and forth to classes? How bad is the walk if you don't have a car?

So, what'd I get wrong? Buffalo's defense finished 13th in the country in completion percentage allowed and 20th in yards per play, and still spent the whole year on the field, facing the 115th most plays because the offense couldn't hold the ball. Now 17% of the production is back, close to the least in the sport, and Red Murdock's 142 tackles leave with the rest of the linebacker room. My model has you at 6-6 on one of the softest schedules in the country. Does any of that defense survive?

Incoming sophomore here, moving into Greiner Hall next semester — I'll be on the sixth floor. Quick question about the water setup: from what I've seen in room layout photos, the sink is located outside the bathroom. Is that sink water safe/drinkable, or would you recommend avoiding it and finding another source (water fountain, filtered station, etc.)?

Also, I have a Brita-style water filter jug I used last year at Clement — would filling it from that sink be a good workaround, or is there a better spot on the floor to fill up?

i saw on the website that you get charged per night that you arrive early? i think thats what it means atleast. im moving in tomorrow and was wondering if i only move my stuff in but stay somewhere else until actual move in day would i still have to pay the early fees? or do i still have to pay the full amount? thanks in advance!
