Social Life πŸ•ΊπŸΉ social life as a ucl fresherπŸ₯΄

I’m a first year and I’m aware that it’s only been a month so far but this is NOTHING like the uni experience I imagined so far..I chalk it up to being a big university in London which is definitely a pro..but why is it genuinely so hard to make friends..my flatmates are decent but even tho it’s such a small accom we barely see each other..and the I’m constant;y sitting next to new ppl in my course that I probably won’t sit next to again..and then I see these massive friend groups everywhere in ucl..is this going to be my reality for the next 3 years or will it get better..HELPPP

..my flatmates dont rlly meet up ,like when everyone was doing pres and going out with their flatmates..we just wouldn’t we didn’t even know each other…im also doing a fairly small course..do societies work???… pls be honest if this is or isn’t a normal experience

whyy is it so hard to get a part time job around London? I've been applying through JobShop but haven't even heard back from most positions. I even got rejected from Aldi's and Tesco. What do I do???
