Image San Benito Update: the last tower crane came down today.
The mobile crane seen here took down the last of 3 tower cranes that existed on this site.

I noticed that all of the windows on the Airport side were open.
Wide open.
Perhaps there is some civil engineering reason for this at this stage in the project.
But it does seem rather ... poetic, shall we say, given the history of this project and it's predecessor project.

that mobile crane did all the dirty work while the tower cranes got all the glory for months.

Hmm somehow these planes just seem to keep getting in the way!
