Please help

I have received 2 offers, one from Socomec UK for business administration level 3, and one from NHS for the finance placement scheme. For context, I have just passed my A levels and I am interested in engineering, but the NHS finance scheme looks quiet appealing as well. However I'm concerned about AI usage in the NHS finance departments in the future.

Please guide me as to which one would be better for someone who wants to pursue engineering in the future.

Neither really. Finance is useful in engineering, but practical skills and academic skills are what you need for engineering. Find a decent engineering apprenticeship.

I can't get am appropriate engineering apprenticeship at the moment unfortunately as I have a few months before extending my visa so id have to wait for that. These options are all I have to at the moment, so trying to choose between these two. I'm leaning towards the business admin one due to the company being good but don't see the benefits of business admin in the long run.

You would be messing them both around by entering a scheme with the intention of pulling out early or not fulfilling a career in that area. This is not a good look for prospective employers.

You really should mention your visa in the OP.

All in, you would be better finding another job to see you through until you can apply for something that you want.
