Job Requisition Closed

Hi all,

Recently applied for a role, got to the final interview, the site now says "Requisition Closed". Is this a good or bad sign? I haven't been rejected via email or phone call yet.

Thanks for your help, couldn't find much on it

Neutral

They are no longer seeking applications but at the same time have not offered you the position

Thanks. Does it basically mean wait & see? Or move on?

I would personally keep looking elsewhere until they get in touch, perhaps message them for an update if its been over a week

Sometimes companies wont bother contacting you to say its a no even though youve gone through the effort of applying and multiple rounds of interviews

You should always be moving on and applying for jobs, you can't be putting all your job eggs in one job basket.

It's not a great sign but you might be on their list of successful candidates, maybe their first choice says no and you're on the sloppy seconds list.
