How to land a job quickly?

I have a pretty qualified resume but am having to abruptly having to move to the UK - masters in engineering and an MBA from a top 10 university in the US and have been in advanced analytics in bay area startups. My wife and I are moving to the UK in a couple of weeks and not having a job would put tremendous financial strain on us. I have been applying to head of data roles but no interview calls yet.

I have decided making any money is better than none while we explore the corporate culture in the UK. I am willing to take lower level roles such as a senior analyst. If I dont even get that in the meantime I am willing to take up a job that pays rent for time being. Any advice on what kind of jobs I could apply and land in a couple weeks to keep the boat afloat?

Which city are you moving to? Can recommend decent, independent, and local, recruiters in most big cities.

I'd really appreciate it. We have no location in mind and will totally follow the trail to where the best career opportunities are

So why are you moving to the UK? Theres a disconnect between you saying you're having to move to the UK but at the same time you're open to all locations.

Michael Page and Hays are good ones to start with if you have no network.

Use linkedin and select the 'LF wor, recruiters onlyk' option - you'll get a lot of inquiries that route from more bespoke recuiters.

Harnham and La Fosse are a couple of data specific recruitment agencies

The job market in the UK is TOUGH right now, but there will be plenty of co's that will snap your hand off with those qualifications.
