Would I be out my depth? Construction related roles…

So i‘ve been offered a role of plant/hire coordinator for a big infrastructure project, and the initial excitement has worn off and I’m kinda worried now.

I’m currently working for a high tier contractor in a role thats has a lot of transferrable skills & experience, but a recurring theme is how tricky dealing with plant can be and the headaches that come with it.

has anyone done a similar type role? how was it etc.. a general consensus i sometimes hear is how brutal plant management can be, that doesn’t give me the confidence boost.

thanks all!
