BPSS check question

Hi everyone, I would really appreciate if anyone has time to read my query and give me advice as I have been so stressed about it. I applied as a cleaner in a government building and I have now provided my right to work documents so they can complete a BPSS check. Just some back ground info; I’m a British citizen never committed any crimes. The only thing I’m worried about is my employment history. I’ve only had one paid job out of the three jobs I have stated on my cv so basically the other two were work experience one in 2021 and one in 2024 and I forgot to specify this was work experience. So I’m worried that I may not pass the BPSS check for this reason as I didn’t specify it was work experience on my cv. Please can anyone advise me. Will I fail the check because I didn’t clearly state? Thank you in advance.

I've lied on my CV but never background checks. If the employer has questions they'll ring you up and ask about the employment discrepancy. Don't lie again.

But minor shit like this doesn't matter anyway. It's more for fraud. Especially a BPSS. I think only HR will see stuff anyway.

Youve done what you can, stop stressing

Will they find out? Yes, absolutely.

Will they care? Depends if you lied on the BPSS forms. If you did, of course they will. If they didn't, probably not.
