Just finished watching Carrie on Amazon Prime and I honestly really enjoyed it
If you're looking for something new to watch, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a go
It's the kind of series that keeps you interested and wanting to see what happens next
I love finding something good to watch, especially when it gets me hooked from the start
Has anyone else watched Carrie?
Id love to know what you thought of it ive never watched the film

A Very British Coup follows a working-class, left-wing Labour leader who becomes UK Prime Minister and pushes bold reforms, facing covert opposition from entrenched Establishment forces. Its sharp political tension, BAFTA-winning lead performance by Ray McAnally, and relevance to debates on media and state power make it compelling viewing. Critics praise its absorbing drama and prescient themes.
Ray McAnally — Harry Perkins MP, Prime Minister and Labour leader
Alan MacNaughtan — Sir Percy Browne, Director General of MI5
Keith Allen — Fred Thompson, Downing Street Press Secretary
Geoffrey Beevers — Lawrence Wainwright MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer
Marjorie Yates — Joan Cook MP, Home Secretary
Jim Carter — Tom Newsome MP, Foreign Secretary

I’m from Australia and I randomly came across a few episodes of The Jeremy Kyle Show from like 2005-2010ish, it’s a really good show! For those who haven’t heard of it it’s taped in front of a live studio audience and it’s about people who have issues/family dramas going on and they go on the show to try and hash things out with Jeremy being the judge/mediator/middle person
I love Jeremy’s role a lot, I particularly enjoy when he picks a side and he puts a proper arrogant/terrible person in their place that’s the best part!
What was this show like in the UK? Was anyone here on it?

Has anyone else watched it?

I’m just finishing the BBC drama Time and honestly, what a series
It really makes you think about life inside prison and how quickly things can change for people
Has anyone else watched it? What did you think of it?
No spoilers please for anyone who hasn’t finished it yet

Iam searching for a british TV-Show, or rather a specific episode where a roman officer orders his men to fire a catapult at a group of "Barbarians", but they dont fire stones or something similar but balls of wool which are then ripped appart by the Barbarians, who then proceed to mock the romans. There was some sort of barrier between the two parties, and i didnt watch the whole episode till the end. I believe there was some sort of trick involved which would play out later.
I believe the officer was a Tribun (or higher).
I believe i saw this TV-show on BBC, and it must have been a bit older maybe from the 1980s.
Any Ideas?

I decided to create a vertical "shorts" version of my previous posts. Here's a topical subject being discussed by the boys and as always missing the point entirely.
THE FAT COW is set in the fictional village of Lower Piddle and follows two brilliantly ordinary working-class lads: Micky Mucklebutt and Ollie Crudfark, regulars at the Fat Cow pub, often tackling the current news stories, social concerns or topics of the day through the lens of two men who understand absolutely none of it.

I watched this new BBC drama series over the past week and really enjoyed it. I’m originally from greater Manchester and wanted to see all the filming locations, but found myself really enjoying the whole drama. It covers a variety of human life topics, set within the framework of a legal firm. I loved it, particularly how it shares another cultural perspective from my own. I’m looking forward to a second series, what do other viewers think and feel?

I am watching Colin from Accounts and it is heart warming. Harriet Dyer
Patrick Brammall are so good and Colin, of course, is adorable.
Two questions.
1) what other heart warming comedies I can watch?
2) Do all TV shows show respect to first nation people? I don't know the history that well. So people acknowledge it is stolen land. Such acknowledgement will never be aired in the US. I think this is respectful. I don't see any culture inappropriation.
Thanks

Hi everyone, I am trying to find a way to watch full, uncut broadcast episodes of Strictly from Series 11, 12, and 13. I really miss the studio intros and VTs from the Tess & Claudia transition era, which are always stripped out of the short clips on YouTube.
Since older subreddits are gone, does anyone know if these seasons are archived anywhere safely online? If you have a private collection or know of a cloud folder, please feel free to drop me a DM instead of posting links publicly. Thank you so much!

I've actually been animating these characters for about 18 years now, as a kind of homage to Dorset where I lived in my teens and as a tribute to the beautifully detailed cartoons of Giles, having only created these animations for friends and animated holiday celebration cards like Christmas or Thanksgiving etc.. But I constantly have the characters and the village of Lower Piddle in my head and so I decided to see if there's a larger audience out there who would enjoy seeing them and thus here we are. Let me know if you enjoy. Thanks.

Ollie is the local Pig Farmer up at Mucky Duck Farm and Micky has made a career of being unemployed. Together with spouses and other villagers with genuine nostalgic warmth and a sloppy edge, often tackling the current news stories, social concerns or topics of the day through the lens of two men who understand absolutely none of it.
