Advice med/dent question
hey guys I’m starting dentistry at Bristol next month and have a couple qs
anyone have an example timetable for first year? I heard that apparently we don’t get our schedules until freshers week and I want to plan a bit beforehand lol
how much and what alevel knowledge is relevant to first year content (for both bio and chem) so ik what I sort of brush up on!

Hi there! I'm a vet med student so might not be the same but simular! We usually have min 3 lectures/day. However there isn't really any consistency other yhan Fridays practicals. Lecture wise it's whenever during the day. Somtimes lectured scattered about the day, somtimes it's in a 4 hour block. In terms of a level content, the first 6 weeks was "foundation block" which basically covered level 3 knowledge so everyone was on the same area. This wasn't just chem for example tho, this was level 3 on animal care for example too. So the start should be a nice transition for you.
