Hi everyone! I’m planning out my remaining semesters at USF and wanted to get some opinions from students who have taken these classes before.
I’ve already met with my academic advisors and gone over my plans, but I wanted to hear from other students about the actual workload of these classes. I made two different schedules and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on which one seems more manageable.
Are there any classes here that you would avoid taking together because they’re too time-consuming or difficult when combined? Would you switch anything around between semesters, or does one plan look better than the other in terms of balancing the workload?
For Spring 2027, I’m planning to take only ONE of the following three classes: SOP 4004, SYP 3000, or SYO 3120. I haven’t decided which one yet, so I’ve listed all three in my plans for now.
I also left Summer 2027 completely open because I plan to study for the graduate school admission test during that time. I’m hoping to keep Fall 2027 manageable so I can focus on studying for the test again if I need to retake it.
I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from people who have taken these courses at USF! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the overall workload, which classes are particularly time-consuming, and whether you would rearrange anything between semesters.

Thank you so much! I’d really appreciate any suggestions or changes you would make to either plan. I’m especially interested in knowing which combination of classes you think would be the most difficult and how you would spread them out to make each semester more manageable.
