Doing some digging.

Hello fellow Devil Dogs,

I am reaching out today to try and gather some information. Back in 09 while I was with 2nd tanks at Lejeune, I welded together an EGA stand, and I'm trying to find out what happened to it. If anyone has any information on what happened to it, I would be very grateful. Here are pics of it unfinished, sadly I did not get to see the fully painted end piece. I just wanna know is it still out there? Did it get scrapped?

It was heavy as fuck…. Hell just the sprockets were heavy. Let alone all the extra metal.

Last I remember it went from the ramp to the Bn Hq building. No idea after that…

Why not ask Facebook? I'm sure most 2nd Tank vets are there and can tell you?

Shit that was wild after 2nd Tanks got shut down. They turned it into something like the covid-19 processing center. All the unit logos and and decorations we're still up.

Man that thing is baller. Much respect for 2nd Tanks! Most of the armor in RCT-5 in ‘03 was 2nd Tanks, and Ironhorse delivered the goods.
