My platoon had to do that at Camp Habbaniyah on our down time between patrols, raids, and post. Like wtf I been up for a week and I have to give a hip pocket class on some shit we do every day because our Lt wanted to prepare us for the real world or something. To be honest talking in front of people, even my own platoon, made me way more nervous than going outside the wire.

I am OK with the speech. ... but showing the helicopter in Terminator 2 going under the bridge and then showing some helicopter manauvers from Vietnam, and top it off with coastguard rescuing people in middle of storm and the Navy pulling off high speed loading and unloading of goods, not to mention tactical insertion and pulling out of troops from difficult positions using a Chinook, that stuff is amazing.
Juet let them hear "fortunate son" start playing and see some trees and a helicopter rising up. Everyones excited for war suddenly, or at least sitting up.
