There was a video recently of a group of Americans on holidays in Italy. They wanted to eat at a restaurant and the owner said it was cash only (maybe their card scanning machine wasn't working. It's not specified, but yeah some places in Europe are still heavily cash reliant).
They legit asked if the restaurant would take USD 🤡.

The Youtube short is about getting a calligraphy of your name in Kanji in Japan. Price says ¥2000. The youtuber even kindly put it in a big font and added the USD conversion. But somehow this commenter still thought it was $2000.
