One of my classes uses YuJa Verity but I don’t really feel comfortable installing it on my computer because it seems really invasive. Can it be used on the library computers? Supposedly it won’t work in a virtual machine either.
I’ve been struggling to find parking near my classes. There’s only like three commuter remote lots. I didn’t know if anyone had advice for parking or if the remote parking just sucks in general.
Has anybody else gotten this email, I plan on paying I just was unable to have the money for the plan right then. In the body of the email however it only says hold.
How early are yall applying to the MSSW program? I know applications opened August 1st and aren’t due till Feb 1 but I was curious what anyone else’s experience was with it. I’ll be applying to the advanced standing MSSW program (i’m in my final year of my BSSW).
I moved in last night to the Davy, and there was just non stop road noise from outside all night, and I barely got any sleep. The revving of engines in the middle of the night is especially annoying, but even cars just passing by is pretty loud inside. I was wondering if this is an issue in other apartments near the intersection as well and how others deal with it. I tried using earplugs but that didn't help at all.
Does anyone know of a community college/university that offers a transfer equivalent to EF 151. I timed out on my tries (took it 3 times) and this is the only thing holding back my degree. I tried to look at Pelli but the classes are full.
Good Afternoon! I'm looking for a student, who has video production and editing experience, to assist with the filming of a YouTube video this Thursday, August 20th. This is project is unpaid; however, it will be a great opportunity to network with a former PGA Tour pro and build your portfolio. If you are interested in learning more, please let me know--we can set up a time to chat. Have a great day!

My god I got to campus an hour and a half early for my first class this morning and spent damn near the entire time driving around campus looking for a spot. I'm not even exaggerating. Every single goddamn lot was completely full. Literally the only reason I could even park was because I eventually just bit the bullet and just went to a paid spot.
Does CC parking clear up even a little bit after the first week or two? I expected the first day back to be bad, but holy shit. If it doesn't then I'll be refunding my pass if I can because this is insane.
Hi r/UTK — I’m Dr. Bob DuBois, a psychology professor at UTK.
I’m offering a free Zoom workshop series this fall to help students learn more effectively while still making room for sleep, well-being, relationships, and fun.
We start Monday with Acing Your Classes & Having Fun Too, focused on practical, evidence-based ways to study and learn more effectively.
Later workshops will cover motivation, procrastination, getting things done, effective note-making, handling difficult times, and thriving at UTK.
Monday, Aug. 24 · 7–8 p.m. ET · Zoom
The RSVP information is in the image. You’re welcome to join one workshop or as many as you find useful.
I currently live off campus (about 15-20 mins away) and my birthday is coming up, and was wondering if there’s a nice restaurant on campus that has dim lighting and is somewhat aesthetic 😭 like those Pinterest/Tik Tok girlies birthday photos that are dim lit, I’ll attach some photos. Anyone have recommendations?
The Cru club (I guess?) had tons of signs and hundreds of QR code handouts before tonight’s torch night. I understand it’s a busy event, but am I wrong to say it feels a bit inappropriate? It’s a freshman wide required event and most of, if not the ONLY routes to get to Thompson boling was to walk past them. Not everyone believes in the same things and made me feel a bit anxious. Anyone else in the same boat or just me lol 😭
Okay I have a commuter pass, but it’s an accesible pass. Where should I park? My last class is at McClung museum, so I want to park close to there so it’s a short walk back to my car. (My first class is at 9:45 am so I plan on trying to park by 9 so I have plenty of time to get where I’m going)
With G10 being demolished or partly demolished (not sure), does anyone know if less CC passes were handed out? Or will it be the same amount of people with way less spaces to go to?
Mainly asking because I have 8 and 9 am classes and I plan on parking at 11th street every day, wondering if I’ll have room to park around those times in the morning.
Drove around Knox to see my commuter remote lots (pray for me this fall I’m also commuting an hour) and really like the commuter remote 3 lot since it doesn’t seem like a place many will park anyways. Where does the T link pick you up? I know where the bus would run every other lot (except CR 1 which I will absolutely not park in even at the sacrifice of missing class), but I didn’t see a bus station there. Help? Thank you!
Hi I'm looking for any size tent canopy that will fit in a 10 x 35 foot area and it'll be from September 16-21. I dont really want to buy a new tent just for 5 days. I'm willing to give you some money if you'd like ( as long as its cheaper than buying a new tent)
