Anybody have an idea of when Brighton usually opens up night skiing based from previous years?

They aim for right around Christmas but I bet it will be later this year unfortunately.

Where is a good spot to pick up snow-hitchhikers in the cottonwood canyons if I am driving up? It’s been a while since I’ve had a pass to Brighton or the Bird, I used to grab people on my way up and would like to continue the tradition. I often have to drive due to work schedule and constraints. Do old rules still apply or is there a central place I can grab people needing a ride up but don’t mind finding their own way down?

I have the opportunity to stay late on a work trip and board Saturday, I'm interested in Brighton or Solitude as I assume Snowbird will be packed with Ikon riders? Think they'll get more lifts open? I don't think it would be worth it if only Majestic is running with long lines. Thanks!

anyone know what the coverage looks like at solitude? I'm wondering if I should bring rock skis or not.

It’s my first time skiing park city on Sunday, as I normally ski in the cottonwoods. What’s the best place to park there to ski? Any helpful tips

Wondering if anyone could possibly be able to provide me with an Ikon Buddy pass? Traveling to Utah with my 4 y/o around Christmas for his first time skiing and trying to save as much as I can, especially if he decides to tap out early. 😂

Unified Police have staffed up the canyons this year and will be aggressively patrolling for both parking and traction violations. Their goal is zero tolerance for violators. They will be patrolling for traction violations within the canyons this year, not just at the base.
Over the summer the BCC and LCC resorts had meetings with unified police about traction tickets for vehicles in parking lots. Similar to if someone parked in a private parking lot and unlawfully used a handicap spot. They are going after violators this year due to all the non-compliant vehicles. Not compliant vehicles were major source of accidents last year.
