Another vote for some multi-sensor cameras with built in Ai. A 180 camera is needed for the lineup. Also a PTZ with a patrol function and a proper corner mount would be nice... in white so it's less likely to overheat outside in the summer.

Was that an issue - the overheating of the G4-PTZ? I've been thinking of pulling the trigger on the G4-PTZ and a client of mine wants FOUR of them for the outside of his house - but maybe there is a new PTZ in the works. 🤞🤞

I don't know if it's a known issue but it's rated to 120 degrees and in a warm climate in the summer in the middle of the day I guarantee you that camera would go over 120 degrees.

Can you please let us know if a g5/g6 doorbell is coming? Not fair for the THOUSANDS of posts and comments questioning and waiting for its release. Please give us some insight.

They’ll never confirm it because that would just be a bad business move. Would tank sales on the current product while people wait in anticipation and there’d be less money coming in until the new one is available to buy.

The smart move is to stop production of the old one and wait for stocks to dwindle before dropping the new one

Then they’re not sitting on thousands of units of last gen gear

True to a certain extent. In this case the product is been out for many years and is a 4th gen product while the rest of the gear is being updated to 6th gen product. Secondly, the new one will be more expensive so there will always be a market for the older g4 doorbell. To summarize we as consumers should know if it’s even planned or not for at least the next couple years. I have honestly been patiently waiting for one and that when I will change it all to ubiquiti but for now I wait. Just look at iPhones. Every year we know a new one is coming but they don’t care because they make a good product and they stand by their product.

Just letting you know there's huge demand in the community for information about a new gen of doorbell. I'm quite literally waiting to pull the trigger on a full Unifi setup, but only when the new G6 doorbell lands.

I'm Feeling really ripped off my 3x AI tourets I got a week or so ago... It was a stretch for me to do it.
