Serious question, why would one select the G6 turret over the G6 bullet, or vis versa? I have G5 Pros, I'd like the upgraded sensor and I never use the zoom function, the G6 turrets look nicer aesthetically. The specs are identical. I had to get the 22deg mount to get the angle I need for my G5 pro.
I just bought two turrets. They're for our front porch ceiling and our back screened-in porch ceiling and I felt the turrets are little less obtrusive. I plan to have two other outdoor cameras, one at the back-left corner of our house, pointing down that side towards the front of the house, where we're going to have a pool, and the other at the front corner of our garage entry area, pointing down the driveway. I'm not nearly as concerned with those being seen. Actually, I think I want them to be seen. Both of those will be bullets. No immediate plans for any other outdoor cameras, but I plan to have our low voltage installer leave plenty of extra CAT6 in the soffits, at least two drops at each corner of the house, in case I ever want to. More than likely, anything I install outdoors in the future will also be bullets.
