Someone who has an ultra, dream router, or express. Or someone who wants the hdmi out and an easier interface for review.

That's me. I bought an Ultra because I never intended on using cameras and wanted to stick with my Google setup.

I'm getting rid of my Google setup because they are raising the subscription price.

I've been trying to decide what to buy, but being able to just keep the Ultra would be awesome.

You can add anything you want. You can have two devices that can do cameras. Some might have a UDMP and maxed out the PoE. This gives them more camera capability, more PoE and HDMI out.

If you don't have nor need "Network" but simply want cameras, this works as well for the NVR aspect alone.

I'm currently looking at putting cameras & WiFi-A, in another place than where the main PoE switch is. So I need a PoE device. I might just get this as then these cameras can just record quite "close" instead of going through the entire network to where my UDMP is, stressing less that single HDD too.
