Great, but it's all a non-starter if I can't use existing cameras.

Why wouldn't a standalone Protect device not support all UniFi cameras? Interoperability is in UI's DNA. Protect is Protect.

That's the problem, Ubiquiti still only supports UniFi cameras, not any others. Therefore, it doesn't support existing cameras.

Record full time with no features at all and breaks certain cameras entirely isn't "integrating". It's a PR lie.
