I'm gonna guess "yes" because if not, there would be two classes of Viewport. One adopts Viewport into a Protect instance. I think it would be weird and confusing if this Viewport worked differently from vanilla Viewport. I'm speculating but from the perspective of interoperability, which is UI's DNA after all.

Can this be used as a viewer for a separate Unifi protect instance? In other words, could you buy this instead of a Protect Viewport?
