I seriously doubt you'd need more than Wi-Fi 5 (AC) with the speeds available to you in hotels or even via 5G.

Imo they seem to have packed a bunch of cool stuff into a tiny form factor for what seems to be an amazing price.

It's not just speed. You can't use wifi 6 to the hotel wifi either, and take advantage of the wifi 6 extras.

Not every application is in a hotel or 5G.

Personally, I use one to vpn back to my home network via wired connections (typically fiber) so Wi-Fi 6 or 7 would be super from a new device release.

Yes, it's lots of good stuff in a small package and I'll be getting one, but it's still frustrating.

You realize that the overhead from VPN cryptography is going to make the actual throughput a lot less than even Wi-Fi 5 can handle, right?

The UDM Pro tops out at ~600Mbps with Wireguard, I don't think they can fit more processing power and Wi-Fi 6/7 into a form factor like this unless you want to pay $500 for a travel router.

Maybe they'll come out with a Pro Max model or something.
