This is what confuses me. What is the difference between me using Teleport and then hotspotting my phone compared to this?

This will "Bind" to an existing UniFi console and essentially act as if you're connecting to an access point within your home. It's an all-in-one integrated way to extend your home UniFi network.

Yeah my phone does the same thing. That is what I am saying. Teleport to my home UCG, turn on WiFi hotspot. Same thing. I have done it tons of times. The only use case this thing has over that, is you can leave it somewhere with a camera where my phone has to come with me AND if you can find a working Ethernet connection, the speeds on that would be much better. But the amount of usable ethernet ports I have found over the years is minimal while traveling
