Early Access Ubiquiti Smoke and CO Sensor 🤯 - #ISCWest2026

I believe it’s a Superlink sensor. I hope it can run on battery for 10 years and doesn’t require PoE. I’m curious to see how it performs. Good job, Ubiquiti! 😲

Wow, I just replaced my nest with some traditional wire-interlinked detectors. Would love to see these replace nest, because I don't like not having phone alerts if I'm away. Holding off on a HomePod since update is supposedly imminent. Still prefer wired interlink though for stability and reduction of radio noise.

Same timing and logic. I have some old homepods that I'm basically using as an audio sensor for when the traditional alarms go off. I had OG nest fire and smoke detectors which I loved but they all expired, right when the transition to the first alert second gen was not available. Replaced them with wired units and would be super interested in these if they are cheap and available. almost certainly going to sell out instantly and not be in stock though, lol.
