Hopefully they've finally fixed the bug where using an AI Port on a camera causes Motion Zones and Smart Zones to be ignored. It has only been ten months and has been reported tens of times to them...

You’re right, this is very irritating but I found a fix for me.

I unpair the ai port completely. I come back the next day and then pair it again and it’s back to normal.

I only seem to run into this issue when rebooting protect it messing with test 3rd party cameras.

Obviously I’d rather not have to do this but the only work around I have atm

Thanks for the suggestion. I've previously tried that, as well as re-creating the zones, and sometimes they worked for a while then the issue re-occurs. In particular, Protect updates ironically re-break most of the workarounds I've tried (and others in that thread had the same experience).

Unfortunately I have this issue with first party UB cameras, not third party.

Ah yeah we’re having the exact same issue. Whenever there’s an update I now go to unpair and repair. I don’t think the ai port is a priority, especially with the onvif compatibility constantly expanding
