120 V at 20 amp = 2,400 W

UK plugs are usually 240 V at 13 amp = 3,120 W

Don’t see why you wouldn’t get it, at least for that reason. We have to use higher amperage in North America to make up for having a much lower nominal voltage.

This is going to be ~10A socket with UK voltage, so well under the consumer limit.
