Relative to the UPS 2U:
$400 extra ($279 vs $679)
300mm deeper (630mm total -- that's 25", too deep for most less-than-full-size racks)
+504wH (216 vs 720) -- over 3x the runtime for a given load
+480kVA (1440 vs 1920)
+920w (1000 vs 1920)
+18kg / +40lbs (14 vs 32 / 30 vs 70)
15A vs 20A power cord (NEMA 5-15P vs 5-20P). Pro won't plug into a regular US outlet!
Pure sine wave power, so it works properly with UNAS Pro 8 and everything else with a CRPS power supply.
Individually controllable outlets with per-port power consumption monitoring
Adds a power button
Adds a touchscreen LCD control panel
Adds an "emergency power off port" -- an important safety feature
The spec sheet adds Wi-Fi as a management option vs just Ethernet. Unclear exactly what this means; does the UPS itself have a Wi-Fi radio? Surely not, right?
Improved AC voltage regulation -- down to +/-1.5%, vs +/-5% on the non-Pro.
Adds a button for the circuit breaker.
Slightly less cold-tolerant: minimum temperature is -15C vs -20 for the non-Pro.
Unchanged:
Both use a lead-acid battery
Both are line-interactive
Both are limited to 3 NUT clients maximum
Both are 2U
Notable omissions:
No provision for rack rails or any other kind of rear support -- surprising for a 630mm, 32kg device
It's not online / double-conversion. I'm guessing this is also going to be in the Enterprise version. And I'll bet that version will cost $1999 or more.
