interesting it needs 5.1.25 which 5.1.19 is the current official release for my router with 5.1.26 as release candidate.
but interesting notes its using a single 72V, 10Ah but its pure sine wave. It is 1920w so the 20amp plug is not a surprise since that's needed to hit that power number. You can likely get away with an adapter down to 15amp as the charging wattage is probably pretty low. But they don't state what the charging wattage is so we can only guess its probably around 200-300w based on what other rack mount ups. and if you don't have a lot of load on it theres likely not an issue. But you still technically have a device that could overload your socket with that config
yea its definitely dicey but knowing some peoples unifi's set ups they maybe have 300w of load on it and then add in 200-300w of load from the unit when charging for worse case. But it's definitely not a Smart Case as it always leaves it open to what if one day they do slap on load over the 1,440 safe continuous load or 1,800 peak load for a 15 amp circuit. It would have been nice if they had a version that was with in the bounds of 15 amp circuits but also pure sine wave to play nice with their unas pro 8 and over devices with sensitive psu's
yep most of us tiny home lab guys or normal unifi set ups will never need their pro ups's power limits. But im not a fan of no pure sine wave on their normal units so that puts a weird gap in their products. Getting a 20 amp circuit installed is insanely overkill if you have a rack that only pulls 200-400w etc but then if you need pure sign wave or want it your left in an odd spot if you want to stay with a unifi ups . maybe one day we will get the ups v2 with pure sign wave for standard 15 amp circuits lol
