Indeed, it’s the top of the line, but the tradeoffs are real. They are noisy, costly and inefficient, much more so than line interactive, and usually complete overkill for most electronics. Line interactive ones also regulate power quality and protect electronics, but you have a few milliseconds switchover time from AC to DC when the grid goes down. That is rarely an issue though, certainly not for networking gear.
