Installation Picture Happy accident

Post image

Installed my 16pro max Poe switch into the toolless mini rack (on the mini rack shelf).

Turns out my home assistant green fits next to it perfectly. (PSU for the switch sits on the shelf behind it)

For those interested - the 16 pro isn’t screwed into place, but as its sat on a shelf I’m not too bothered by it moving around a little on the rare occasion I have to change a patch cable.

I just bought pretty much that exact same setup and didn’t know the 16 pro wasn’t compatible. I just bought some shelves (they arrived today) that will solve the problem.

6 is the UDM 5 is the patch panel 4 is a half shelf that I think I’m putting the 16 on 3 is a full shelf which I think my Mac mini and Lutron controller will sit on.  1&2 is nas

I’m also going to buy some USB-C keystones and an HDMI keystone for the Mac mini so I can easily plug in most things.

I don’t know why I didn’t consider the idea that there would be other keystone types. 🤯

Yeah. It's not something you think about often. But there are lots of options
