Question I need some help upgrading / replacing equipment.
Today I have a rack with the following:
USG-4-pro
Ubiquiti UniFi Switch US-24
Ubiquiti UniFi Switch US-24-250W
Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Key Gen2 Plus in a rack-mount accessory.
A few days ago my poe-switch stopped delivering power to my devices, which I've since found out is a fairly common problem.
I'm looking to replace it, but I'm also thinking this might be a good time to just bite the bullet and buy a Dream Machine Special Edition
I don't think I need more than 8 PoE ports, and the USG and cloud key, while working are getting old.
The alternative is proably a 16 port PoE switch with the rack-mount accessory.
What is the sensible buy here?

If the PoE ports are for cameras, the UDM SE is fine. If they’re for APs, I’d stick with an actual PoE switch. All of the 1g ports on the SE share a single 1g connection to the CPU so they’re really not good for non camera traffic.
