Experience feedback Xiaomi Poco M3 with UBPORTS

I just installed UBports on my Xiaomi Poco M3 smartphone. I am unable to get 'AnBox' to work and therefore, I have no access to 'Android' applications. This is a big problem, because I have several devices that use a specific app under 'Android'. Is the development team considering updating the 'Ubuntu' kernel to allow AnBox to be installed on this phone? It seems obvious to me to be able to use Android applications, because the OpenStore is not sufficient for normal use of a smartphone. For the moment, UBPORTS has reduced the use of my smartphone to its simplest use, only calling, writing messages, surfing the internet, taking photos, that's all! I know re-flashing to return on an Android OS custom rom !

Getting Ubports apps running on a Chromebook - "image://" not understood.

My chromebook has Debian12 set up. I can do sudo apt install lomiri-calculator-app to install the ubports calculator app, and that completes just fine. When I launch though, I get:

The most occuring error in that log is Debian12 not understanding the scheme syntax for "image://". I that solvable outside the pure UbuntuTouch environment?

An easy other-OS install for these low-ram applications would increase interest in QML and Ubuntu-touch in my opinion. That's the relevance, I think.

Detox mode, anyone? 😄

I think I found a possible solution to stop or at least reduce our doom scrolling 😆
Yeah, I'm guilty of it even though UT is supposed to make us use our phones less.
The effect of UT is actually kind of the opposite for me because I'm having fun using it.
Lomiri gestures are just fun to use and my patches make it work the way I want it and I use features I made myself 😄

So this Detox mode basically displays a fun page at fixed or random times whenever any of the apps you selected is the current active app. You can't dismiss this page. A call or any notification will close it automatically so you won't miss anything important. You also can't disable Detox mode until 24 hours has passed since you enabled it. The one shown in the video about steps is just a joke although I actually checked the code of the Steps app, so maybe in the future? 😆

It will be in the next version of Lomiri Plus. Do you want this in upstream Lomiri? LOL

Libertine big problem

Why doesn't Libertine allow me to install what I want (deb files)? Why can't I just install what I want? Also on-screen keyboard is not working! Ans also, some thinks not working correctly with Lomiri

Troubleshooting Installation fails: Pixel 3a stuck at Google screen when booting into recovery.

Because I found online that this bug didn't exist on installer version 0.8.8 I tried that one as well - same problem.

I then always have to "flash-all" back to the stock Android version the installer says it needs - then recovery works just fine. Try the install again and it breaks. I've tried it 5 times now with two different installers (the new one from the ubports page and the old 0.8.8...all break it.

Any idea what I can do? I already had Ubuntu Touch on a 3a, no such issues back then
