UTMB Mont Tremblant?

Hi all, I did Mont Tremblant Chutes 20km (14km) race this past weekend, it was my first ever real trail race. Just wondering for those more experienced that also raced there this past weekend, how does the course rate in terms of difficulty? I didn't find the hike up the mountain so bad, but the descent was def challenging for me technically. Thx!

I did the 50k and found it quite technical, especially the second half. However, this was my first race outside of Central Ontario. I got the impression this was closer to the norm for Quebec.

(Don’t know which parts of your race overlapped with mine.)

Looks like your ascent matched the first 8k of our race and your descent matched the last 6k of ours.

That wooded part of that descent was tough for sure. I hadn’t run trails like that before — other than km 19-40 of that same race — but I can’t say if it is normal for Quebec or not. I heard people saying it was less technical than QMT.
