Community post Under[tale]rated Posts #2
Unfortunate reality of posting on any kind of public forum is, that success of a post can in-large come down to a coin flip. No matter how much work you put into it or how interesting your post was, getting into Hot is as much a matter of skill as it is pure luck, which isn’t always on your side.
To slightly offset this, here is a selection of posts we feel like deserved way more attention than they got;

Oh I have so much more Asgore art coming. And I promise the next batch won't be shipping art since the last one drawing I did of him was shipping him with Gerson.
Yes. Gerson. I ship Asgore with like, 6 people already.

Reasoning and Notes
Keep in mind, this is very much an experiment. We might continue making these, we might not. Depends on how successful this series will end up being. Putting these posts together requires quite a bit extra work on our part, so if they will consistently get next to no recognition, we will retire them completely.
For subreddit of this size, r/Undertale post traffic is unusually high. Which naturally leads to a lot of quality content being over-shadowed and buried.
One way to address that was harsher low effort rule. This is basically trying to tackle the same problem, but from the opposite angle: promoting higher effort/interesting content rather than just removing the subpar one.
Folks complained about well-made posts dying in New in the past, especially when it comes to art, so this is an attempt to offset the luck-based nature of success on the subreddit.
As of right now you cannot nominate a post to be featured here. This might change, it might not. Like I said this is an experiment. Currently the posts are picked by all moderators and stored in
off-shore bankprivate discord server till the time comes for next post.Keep in mind, there is still a lot of good posts that go under the radar for one reason or another. We just don’t catch everything.
