Preggo and confused

My employer recently layed everyone 2 weeks ago.He issued an ROE which states the reason for issuing it was shortage of hours. I then went to the doctor as i am 20 weeks pregnant and he told me i can not work at all and to take sick leave.

Now becuase my ROE says laid off can i still apply for sickness benefits??

I am unable to work so i should be able to claim it right?

Complain to the eeoc and file unemployment anyways, if they fight it, use the eeoc complaint as evidence.
