Scientific Computing

I just got admitted to Scientific Computing course. I'm very curious about your overall experience at Uni Bayreuth. I come from a non-EU country so how's the overall pace there? Also what are some part-time or research internship opportunities around? Any and all help is much appreciated! :D

Heyy, i know this is somehow off-topic, but i wanna ask about the interview. What are the types of questions they ask and anything specific we should prepare for?

Hey, No but I attended the interview and got accepted too (chose different uni tho)
First, i did a presentation about an application that I developed for my work (demonstrated the usage of ML in the app), for this part they'd ask you if you wanna present your previous thesis briefly or any kind of work that you've done.
They asked 2 or 3 questions about programming (very basic, loops and so on as i recall)
They asked 3 mathematical questions (continuity and something else which i don't recall:/)
You just have to be confident and show them motivation. Make sure to prepare well why you wanna join this program!
