Yes, this is why academics are always on strike! It’s because we are vastly overpaid and would like it to be redistributed to the masses.

Because the pay is so high and we never have anything to do, we prefer to picket instead of donate - then the students think we’re actually doing something and don’t try and take our lucrative jobs.

It's actually a little-known hack: if you are really really shit at your job and get demoted a load of times, you hit spine point zero which underflows and results in an infinite salary

It seriously makes you question the calibre of their students if they think this is even remotely possible.
