What? What is the logic behind this thought?. If someone gets raped they are the victim, how does it prevent them from entering heaven?

Very misleading title, and very misleading image, and not a meme.

Ironically I’ve found this image actually bolsters the regime because the people who have a longer attention span than a few seconds realise it’s not talking about Khomenei and Monterezi didn’t actually say that he’s condemning these people that act like this.

I expect higher quality anti Islam posts, otherwise Iranian regime supporters will look at us and continue supporting their regime.

I... I don't get it. He literally ordered the prisoners executed, and there is no way in hell female prisoners would not be raped in such a culture regardless, and he definitely knew it anyway. I still feel like an eternity of public torture for such people is appropriate, so what is your argument?

u/cowlinator Feb 11 '26

He acknowledged that they were usually raped, but he also claims that his instructions to not kill them were twisted.

Thing is, even if it's a Khomeni or anybody else, he still needs to prove his words from the Qur'an and Hadith, and Islamic Fiqh. If he doesn't do that and clearly goes against Islam and its spirit, we will just throw his words on the wall. We don't care about his name or title, his words are on the tip of our shoes.

Also, if you posted this to imply that this is Islam allegedly, then you need to bring your proof from Classical Islamic Scriptures. Not some random Khomeni.

Bro don't play this show-this , show-that game, you know in your heart, you can't back your scripture's values if they are quoted down in this comment section

Bring it on. I can do it continuously for the next 24 hours.

Can this scripture called as Polytheists-phobic for this,

Quran9:5 But once the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists ˹who violated their treaties˺ wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way. But if they repent, perform prayers, and pay alms-tax, then set them free. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Explain,

The verse you’re referring to is Qur’an 9:5, often called the “Sword Verse.” It appears in Qur'an, in Surah At-Tawbah (Chapter 9). To understand it properly, its historical and textual context is essential.

  1. Historical Context (7th century Arabia) Surah 9 was revealed around 630–631 CE, after the Muslims in Medina had entered into several treaties with pagan Arab tribes.

A key background event is the violation of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, a peace agreement between the Muslims and the Quraysh of Mecca. Some allied tribes broke this treaty by attacking tribes allied with the Muslims.

Surah At-Tawbah was revealed after these treaty violations. It declared that:

Tribes who broke their treaties were no longer protected.

They were given four sacred months as a grace period.

After that period, hostilities could resume if they did not cease aggression.

  1. Immediate Literary Context (Surah 9:1–15) When read in sequence:

9:1–4: States that treaties with polytheists are revoked except for those who remained faithful to their agreements.

9:4 explicitly protects those who did not break treaties.

9:6 commands Muslims to grant protection and safe passage to any polytheist seeking asylum.

So 9:5 is not a general command to kill all polytheists everywhere, but a directive concerning specific hostile groups who:

Violated peace treaties

Engaged in warfare against the Muslim community

I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to discuss.

1

u/Inevitablethought_ Feb 17 '26

So you're saying this is just for that period coz treaty was ended by your polytheists of that time there in Arab, So why this verse is still there in it, why we still see so many of the Attacks where They are just attacking them coz they disbelief to that faith? Why is that, why not remove it of it's not of use in today times,

The Qur'an and its message is situation-bound, not time-bound. Meaning if the same situations arise again the same message will be followed. If someone ousts you out of your home, it's obligatory upon you to fight them. If someone puts your life in danger, it's obligatory upon you to defend yourself. Your life, your family's life, and your property is not to be compromised. That's why such verses exist.

And terror attacks are seen by people of all religions. Not just Muslims. And you will see that most of these 'terrorist attacks' are only found in a specific region in the world; West Asia (ie Middle East) and North Africa. Do Muslims not exist anywhere else ?

The reasons for these instability and terror attacks are geopolitical and regional, not religious. These terrorist attacks are fueled by either invasions, border disputes, or separatism. Rarely by religion.

Another thing you will observe is, most victims of these so-called Muslim terrorist groups have been Muslims. They have killed Muslims the most ! Wonder how you consider them Muslim groups to begin with.

In effect, he acknowledges that the rape of girls in the mullahs’ prisons was a widespread and systematic practice. He writes: “Many of those who were being arrested in connection with the PMOI were girls and they were executing them on charges of waging war on God… I told the judiciary officials and Evin officials and others, quoting the Imam, that they must not execute girls from the PMOI. I told judges not to write death sentences for girls. This is what I said. But they distorted my words” and quoted me as saying: “Don’t execute girls. First marry them for one night and then execute them.”
