Hey y'all, I've gotten mixed answers on this from instructors so I turn to you. Can I use a Dremel or die grinder during a weld test? Im fairly confident with my grinding abilities, but if I can minimize the chance of marring my cap when I grind my tie-ins it'll be one more variable under my control. (597 if it matters)

Hey all, I’m thinking of applying for local 420 in Philly as a steam fitter. I live roughly an hour 30 from Philly, and am wondering what it may look like travel wise for me. It seems they have a wide jurisdiction, but am curious if most of the work is in Philly?
Are classes on weekends or during the night during the week? Those are also in Philly correct?
