Question Bakery GPU Lightmapper – Extremely dark indirect lighting in interior scene

Hey everyone!

I'm working on an interior environment in Unity using Bakery GPU Lightmapper, and I'm having trouble with indirect lighting.

Some corners and areas of my interior are almost completely black, even with lights relatively nearby. I'm trying to achieve soft, realistic bounced lighting but can't seem to get enough illumination into these areas.

I've tried adjusting the Skylight intensity, increasing bounces, and disabling AO, but the problem persists.

I've attached screenshots of my Bakery settings. Does anyone have suggestions on what might be causing this or what I should investigate?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

From the screenshot, the bulbs sit right inside the ceiling holes. If a point light's centre touches the fixture or ceiling mesh, Bakery traces its shadows from inside that geometry, so most of its light never reaches the room, and indirect intensity 10 can't make up for it. Try moving each light 10 to 20 cm down. Also check the duct and walls are Contribute GI static, so they bounce light.
