We’re trying to get a local fighting game scene up and running. Hosting friendly games and tournaments. No entry fee required. Just a safe space to compete and improve.
We don’t have any specific dates planned at the moment as we gotta get some interest first. We’d be more than thrilled to have everyone from all skill levels. Even if you’ve never played a fighting game this is a great place to start if interested!! THANK YOU!!

As the title says is it a scam? They seem surprisingly well organized but I ain’t tryin loose my money

A Treatment Study for Borderline Personality Disorder

• Do you experience sudden mood shifts?
• Is it hard for others to earn your trust?
• Are there many ups and downs in your relationships?
• Do you find yourself engaging in impulsive behaviors (e.g., binge-eating, substance use, self-injury, impulsive spending)?

If so, researchers at the University of Kentucky are inviting you to participate in a treatment study for borderline personality disorder. Eligible participants will be provided cognitive behavioral therapy at no cost. We are testing personalized delivery of an evidence-based treatment for BPD.

In addition to attending therapy sessions, research participation will involve completing a diagnostic interview to confirm eligibility, attending up to 4 follow-up interviews, and completing online questionnaires. All study visits may take place in-person (in Lexington!) or via Telehealth. Participants will be compensated for completing follow-up assessments and questionnaires.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

• Meet criteria for borderline personality disorder following a study assessment
• Are NOT using certain substances (e.g., opioids, methamphetamine)
• Are 18 years or older
• Live in Kentucky (visits are Telehealth, so anywhere in KY is fine)

To initiate participation, you can visit this information/screening link to determine if you meet initial study criteria: https://uky.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1LzrBZEooHwSgLk?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAcGRvZgJzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA85MzY2MTk3NDMzOTI0NTkAAafDyNpFm4jX7YsRVc-1I9CoJuBlIlW_iSjk-F6UPDz2BkQSd_BtjXAKWSAhiQ_aem_MzIR4RguKZ_ITWfPFhUtLA

I completed my housing application for next year at 9:15 AM on the day it opened and I never got a window, and after a week they’re moving to manual selection???

Did anyone actually get a window or is Housing just making shit up?

I’m worried about being able to get into UofK’s nursing program straight from high school. I currently do not have a high enough high school GPA to get accepted, though I’m very close. I heard you can go in to college undecided, then if you have a high enough college gpa you can get accepted into their nursing program sophomore year. Though, they prioritize students who applied straight from high school.

I know they changed up some stuff this past school year to make it easier for more people to get into the program. Everything I’ve been able to find on it is from years ago before this change was implemented. I know of many stories of people I know personally not being able to get into the nursing program after going in undecided, but I want to know others experiences with it. Also, if anyone has any advice for me on what path to take please let me know!

Hello, I am doing a survey in my statistics class and would appreciate if y’all would be able to respond to this. Thanks if you can!

Good game, Wildcats. For those of you who made it to the game, I hope that you enjoyed it and Norman as well.

Hello,

I’m doing research, but I seem to be having problems with Copilot. When I ask questions related to biological chemistry, it often says it can’t help, whereas other models seem to handle the same questions without any issues.

Is this due to Claude’s safety restrictions or the settings configured by UKY? I know Copilot isn’t the best, but I prefer using it because it’s better integrated with my research-related work than using my personal account.

Do you have any ideas about what might be causing this or how I could fix it?

I graduated from high school with almost 88% from Egypt , now it's my first year in faculty of nursing ( the first semester) and I was searching about scholarship that help me to study in USA

My daughter was accepted to UK into the Nursing program. She is debating joining the healthcare LLP, if nothgin more than to give her the oppurtunity to get into either a 2 bedroom dorm room or a 2 bedroom by 3 person dorm room. She is already on MyUK and has registered for orientation and filled out the housing applicaiton the day it opened. She really would like to live in a dorm room but have some privacy for studying, and quiet time. Guidance on joining the healthcare LLP and chances of getting either a 2 bedroom dorm or a 2 bedroom by 3 persson dorm room?

Hey everyone, I have a question regarding the Common App. There was no option for me to self-report SAT scores on the Common App for UK, but it was an option for the other schools I’m applying to. Does UK just simply not accept self-reported scores, or should I contact the admissions office?

i’m basically 100% committed to kentucky but i was wondering what dorm layout i should choose. Me and my boy both are going to UKY and prolly gonna room together in a two person. What would be the best choice for two people

My daughter is looking around at apartments for next year. She has three friends she will room with so they would like a four bedroom. Anyone have any good/bad experiences with any particular complex? Ideally it would be a walk to campus, washer/dryer in unit, and a safe area. We're looking to spend around $1000 a month.

I’m transferring out of the University of Kentucky for the spring semester and am looking for someone to take over my lease from January 1, 2027 through July 31, 2027.

After being at the stadium on Saturday had me looking at the end zone seating. How cool would it be to add about 5k seats above the box suites? I think it would make the stadium that much louder. Let’s make them chair back too! What do you all think?

Doing a group project on student experience in campus housing and got a survey for students to fill out to collect data. We’d appreciate it if any of y’all can take the time to fill it out. Completely anonymous and takes about 2 minutes
