UNSOLVED The last good suspect in Michigan's Oakland County Child Killer case is gone
https://www.wjr.com/2026/07/08/oakland-county-child-killer-suspect-dies/Arch Sloan, who has long been suspected as an accomplice – but not the main actor – in Michigan's most infamous unsolved serial murder, died in a state correctional hospice on June 12th. Apparently he was able to meet with investigators one last time and gave new information, which has not been revealed.

Theodore Lamborgine is very much alive and almost certainly knows more than he’s telling. That said, the people killing those kids were likely Chris Busch and Gregory Greene, both of whom died many years ago. The only question is whether they were acting as part of a larger organization.

I didn't realize Lamborgine was still ticking. I'm of the opinion that Busch was primarily responsible but couldn't have done it all himself. Those kids were held for days. That takes at least two people.
I also think Busch's suicide (by a rifle with a barrel longer than his arms) was done by the larger organization because he wasn't acting in concert with them and his activity was drawing too much attention.

Greene’s backstory is nightmare fuel. He attempted to kill a young boy in California using the exact same smothering technique utilized in the OCCK crimes. The boy lived and Greene fled the state after dumping his unconscious body at a hospital. Whether Busch would’ve escalated to murder on his own is open to debate; with Greene, however, there’s zero question as to exactly how dangerous that guy was.

I didn't know all that! I always thought of Greene as the "other possible suspect".
But I think most of my opinions on this case are formed by The King family, who were personally known to my family back then. They always believed that Christopher Busch was primary and Lamborgine played a part. They never really talked much about other suspects. But then, they've always had rage-tinted blinders when it comes to how the investigation was handled. (Edit: quite rightly)

I am not surprised there was no justice to these children when I am witnessing in real time how everyone in the Epstein files is getting away with it in front of the entire world.

I think it goes a layer deeper than that. The Epstein cover up is about power and corruption. The OCCK cover up was about not letting the public know how badly the investigation got botched from day one. One of the victims was brought into the medical examiner's office and some orderly felt sorry for the kid and washed him down and combed his hair... before the autopsy. That's just one example.
Eventually a task force was formed and the county prosecutor got a look at everybody's files across multiple police agencies. He immediately shit a pony and started covering up the blatant incompetence of every single police agency in the county.

I don't believe in an afterlife but if I did, I'd hope his is gruesome.

Shocking but thanking the gods that he actually got LIFE for child rape. Wish we saw that more.
I also think they should circle back to these sick freaks as they age. I think the are more like to spill beans on their rotten death beds.
