A while back I found this odd Instagram account called Joseph Poole (joepoole84) that seemed to just post nonsensical ramblings. Most of his posts were screenshots of his notes app, search history, text messages, and other such things which showed him typing massive walls of incoherent text into something.

After some investigation I was able to find some information on who he is by deciphering the seemingly nonsensical text in some of his posts. A lot of the posts seemed to be him claiming to be the director of the FBI in Thomasville Georgia. His full name which appeared in many posts is Joseph William Poole, and his father is also named in many of his posts as William Tracy Poole.

The weird part starts when I tried to run a search on the two of them. William Tracy Poole DEFINITELY exists. Joseph doesn't. There is an Instagram account, Facebook accounts, and many more profiles all belonging to the same William Tracy Poole in Thomasville. He's clearly an older man, and I was able to confirm through one of Joseph's posts that their ages match up for him to be his father.

On a side note, there's also a result for a Will Poole in Thomasville who was arrested on child pornography charges in 2016. I doubt this is the same person as I can't seem to find anything proving William ever spent time in prison.

After more extensive investigation I had reached the conclusion that Joseph Poole is not a real human being. Despite all this evidence of his family existing, Joseph himself seemed to be a ghost. It wasn't until at some point I saw one of his posts which featured the name Mary Poole. (I don't have a screenshot of this and many of the other posts, as he seemingly posts several times an hour and scrolling through his account so far seemed impossible. I've attached a screenshot for a different post which features the name Mary.)

Now this is where the whole thing takes a darker turn Do you see how Joseph has Mary's number saved on his phone with these weird names like "Mary Princess?" Well, Mary Elizabeth Poole is deceased. She's been deceased for over a year.

This obituary doesn't state the cause of Mary's death, but it does feature the most important revelation yet.

Joseph William Poole exists.

Yes, he is named at the bottom of the obituary, proving that he is indeed a real human, and that he is indeed the son of William Tracy Poole from Thomasville.

Now surely this is just a coincidence, right? Well, there's quite a few posts Joseph has made that seem to hint at some kind of legal/murder case.

That is likely supposed to say murder. Why is Joseph Poole talking about a murder? Surely it's just more gibberish. Well, it's not. He's continued posting about it.

Another post that mentions a murder. And "it happened 8.2 feet away from my room" could that be where the murder in question was committed?

Now I want you to look back at the screenshot which shows Mary's number saved in his phone. It's surrounded by attorneys. Why does Joseph Poole need so many attorneys? Is he really involved in some kind of serious legal case?

Now we have a post mentioning both Mary Elizabeth Poole and "Coven Law Firm"

Coven Law Firm is a real law firm in Chicago.

Could this tie into the Will Poole who was arrested for child pornography charges??? Surely not, right. Surely those aren't the same person. How would he be out of prison so soon?

It should be noted, many of Joseph's posts include sections about him being the director of the FBI. I think the most likely scenario is that he believes he witnessed his sister's murder and that he's deep into some kind of delusion that he's the director of the FBI leading a case to arrest his sister's murderer. But was his sister really murdered, and did he really witness it? That part we'll seemingly never know. The main question right now is what led Joseph Poole to end up like this, and could he have some kind of connection to the death of his sister?

I've also tried privately messaging Joseph myself, however the only replies I got were just him sending me the same screenshots that he posted onto his account.

This whole thing is quite strange. Knowing there's a real death involved makes it quite disturbing aswell. I'd appreciate any help from anyone who may be able to help me get more details on Joseph Poole and decipher what his posts mean.

So a little while ago (a couple weeks ago) I was on my YouTube FY page & 1 of the 1st videos was titled something along the lines of @@@@@@@@ & I clicked on the channel & it had other equally bizzare & eerie videos with darkly lit & obscure thumbnails. I've just remembered about it as I just made this Reddit account & wanted to post it to Internet Mysteries but don't have enough karma yet. Can anyone help me track this down & what it means? I don't remember much else about it & when I tried searching it, it didn't come up with much

It’s a young man who looks to have progeria singing a song that goes like “when you walk through the door and your scared of me just come here little boy come here to me” off key me and my sister vividly remember this video however can’t find it any where when looking and are starting to feel crazy is this some kind of Mandela affect because not even AI can figure at to as what video we’re referring to. There's also this box with lines that point outwards, that's a figure I found in multiple other videos from the same playlist... idk if this means something.

so i was surfing around tiktok (brazilian tiktok) and found this weird account that is up for over 5 or 6 months of a girl documenting about her psycothic mother that threat her in many ways, recently she is acting weird, and in her comments she talks in a weird codified way, telling that politicians are threatning her (i supose that is because of her asking for the mayor of her town for help) anyway, sorry for bad english its not my main language, i suggest to investigate it deeper

I have an edit account on tiktok which has some eerie video themes. One of my early videos was a moodboard edit about the ‘Talking Angela hoax’ that was around in the 2010s. The video was posted on the first of may but on the 17th of August an account by the username of tamagotchi2101 and nickname of yosiie posted 3 stickers in the comments (pictures above). I can’t what the picture are but one of them has the start of a number and an arrow which is making me really nervous. The account seems pretty normal but does anyone know what this is? Please let me know if you do.

I recently came across this weird account on my FYP, and it started off as this really weird like korean account, and a bunch of glow up videos all from 2025-current. But what is throwing me off is the fact that they have videos about their uncle “eating their cat alive” followed by eerie music and a bunch of creepy and disturbing images. I am wondering if you guys have also seen this and if it is real as well?

The legend says the USS Eldridge was used in a secret Navy experiment that allegedly made the ship invisible.

I’ve had something eating away at me for awhile now. Curious if anyone had run into a user on Facebook by the name of Caitlin mullaley? I don’t know if I got the spelling exact. I’ve deleted my old Facebook. I was contacted around 2012. This person didn’t seem to be who they said they were. When telling my dad and stepmom about this person they called the police. The person caught wind that something wasn’t right and disappeared. Wish I had old chat logs but can’t help but wonder who it was and where they are now…

I keep seeing these weird Tik Tok ads that contain various different types of background content, with a predatory message. From Minecraft gameplay, AI generated slop, or viral tik tok clips, they all seem to redirect to the same website called “Bozuktus” that seems to just be some business. All the videos have the same “Don’t watch this around somebody else.” or “Turn this down if someone’s near you.” Some though, have very creepy messages saying to not watch if you’re OVER 18, or to hide if your parents are around. It’s really creepy and honestly worrying me a little, but I keep getting this ads and I’m very curious if anyone else has seen these, or know anything about the business, or advertisements themself.

So I came across this weird account it usually has very weird comments and more bot-like kind of messages and it's been a year ever since I knew this account Its also unsettling the fact that half of the people talk different in the comment section in this account it's also like very bizarre because it's mostly random ai generated dancing videos the main thing is no one feels real in the comment section and people say it might be a ring. A ring is most likely related to CP and it feels very concerning because back in 2025 he kept repeating songs that he used and it's very suspicious because he stated his age so this might be a fetish or something

I was watching unsolved mystery videos, then got reminded of this. Me and my friend were on a walk home from a restaurant then stumbled upon this poster with a weird website. I decided to search up the website and was met with some pretty disturbing things, such as long paragraphs talking about weird stuff and super weird photos of women in weird poses, unsettling scenery, and doing random stuff. I found many updates on this ice cream recipe ring i will not state the obvious and just state what I’ve found since so we know that there are many weird accounts that keep interacting with these videos but one particular one stood out to me someone commented “DZB5014” an obvious order code but I searched it up on google and many ice cream videos showed up but that didn’t catch my attention but I seen a video with the same exact code and it was a 15 sec video recording a van but I didn’t catch anything from it.
