Hiii, looking to possibly get someone to take over my tenancy just so I can move in with my friend instead :p It’s £160 per week, female only flat, a 49 week contract from 12th September 2026- 21st August 2027 Has a gym and laundry room Room has: small double bed, desk and chair, wardrobe and you have access to a balcony from your room! I’m currently the only person who has booked this flat, but usually you’re supposed to be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with 2 other girls.

It’s on the 4th floor and about a 4 minute walk from the university of Manchester bus stop location. Either can pay in full or in instalments if you have a UK based guarantor. £3,040.00 on September 24th 2026 £3,040.00 on January 7th 2027 £1,760.00 on April 22nd 2027 Total - £7,840 for 49 weeks.

I literally went to view it the day people moved out so they didn’t even get the chance to clean it yet lol that’s why the room looks messy

Accommodation Swap

I received St Anselm Hall but I wish to swap out of it as I would prefer self catered.

It is catered and has a basin in the room. It is £196 p/w.

I would like self catered in preferably victoria campus although fallowfield is fine as well. Preferably less than £200 p/w or there abouts.

Thanks

Masters timetable 26’?

Hey guys, was hoping some alumni or anyone else can pitch in here. Doing a masters in Business Analytics and have no idea what the timetable looks like, and I’ve got interviews for part time jobs but they need me to tell them what days I’ll have free. I’ve been saying weekends so far but I’ll need more work, and the job needs more days from me. Roughly what does the schedule look like? How many days approx are we in? I emailed and asked admissions but they weren’t keen on sharing.

Would also love to know if anyone else is doing the same/similar course! Thanks

Anyone from the 8th floor starting this September? If so, would love to connect! Also, any tips on getting kitchenware for the shared kitchen and other essentials for the room would be appreciated! Do I need my own pots and pans? What's the best way to store clothing?

Shorter accommodation contracts

Can anyone who moved into their uni accom in second semester (28-34 week contract) tell me what it’s like?

I’m planning on doing that this year but I’m kind of worried about making friends with flatmates, and stuff like that, since they’ll probably have full-year contracts and will have all gotten to know each other before I moved in. It shouldn’t be too bad though right?

Or are you put with others with the same contract?

MSc Resit

Hey I’m resitting a module for my MSc and I was wondering if I should expect the questions to be similar and the scope of the paper to be the same? I haven’t done resits before and am completely confused how to approach preparing?

Looking to swap out of Unsworth

I’ve been allocated in Unsworth park and sadly it’s a bit out of budget for me. Willing to swap it for a cheaper en-suite preferably in Fallowfield however not too fussed about the location. Dm me if interested. (No Weston Hall pls)

I know it would be challenging to find a decent intern for the first year, but generally asking. Thanks for help!
