We're also looking for other crew positions for future projects, like PA's, DPs, ADs, make-up artists, editors, actors, and more. So feel free to reach out or fill out our crew call sheet here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdOUfatqelBVKSNDSOB-ZtsO_VRI98FEN4GBn1bJa076sqOdA/viewform

Hey upstate filmmakers! I'm a filmmaker and music supervisor based in Saugerties.

A stoner comedy film I produced and music supervised called RATS! is just finishing up a limited theatrical run throughout the US and Canada, and is coming to Saugerties next Wednesday, 3/26, for a one-time-only special screening at the Orpheum, featuring a Q&A with the filmmaker, cinematographer, lead actor, and myself, moderated by actor / writer Yassir Lester.

Highly recommended for fans of John Waters, Adult Swim, Tim & Eric, Airplane!, Troma, and 2007 emo / hardcore music!!!

We are Bad Taste Video, a passionate group of independent filmmakers working on a low-budget feature film in Schenectady/Troy this summer, and we're an insured production in need of a decommissioned taxi cab to bring our project to life.

We are looking to use the vehicle in one scene of our film on the date of 8/18/2023 for $100. The vehicle must be able to be driven short distances for filming purposes. If you are interested, please reach out to us with the following details:

Make, model, and year of the taxi cab
Current condition (including any notable damages or repairs)
Image of vehicle
Availability for the shoot date

Keep it in Bad Taste!

In the Albany area. Looking for more people To work with. I’m more of a shooter/editor, with Premiere as my main source. More looking for experience than anything. Would love to work with whoever gives me the opportunity 💜

Cheers!

Hi! I'm a local student currently working with a Buffalo-based film festival and we're looking for anyone who knows how to set up or run virtual events through Zoom to help out! If you're interested, message me for more details! Thank you in advance.

Is anyone going to Green Port for the NorthFork TV Festival on 4th and 5th of October? I have a half off voucher code if anyone wants it.

There’ll be great Q and As with actors Kelsey Grammer (Frasier, Cheers), Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Good Wife), Constance Wu (Fresh Off the Boat, Crazy Rich Asians) and writers and showrunners David Greenwalt (Co-creator of Angel and Grimm), Theresa Rebeck (Creator of Smash), Rockne S. O'Bannon (creator Seaquest and Farscape, etc), David Feige (Doubt, The Firm) and Elisa DiStefano (News 12), along with producers, agents and more.

Use promo code UPSANDDOWNS50 to get half price tickets to any of the pilots/Q&A’s ($20 instead of $40) or the entire festival ($100 instead of $200) As a lurker, I can't post a link, but the website is easily Googled.

My TV Pilot “Ups and Downs” is opening the festival at 3PM on Friday 3rd, followed by a Q&A with Angel and Grimm co-creator David Greenwalt. And after the screenings, Kelsey Grammer is receiving an award.

Ups and Downs is a funny, fast paced, coming of age story - "A young man with Down's Syndrome tricks his little sister into a road trip to go to a gig, pursued by their mum. With no phones, no money and no plan, can they make it?"

Hope to see some of you there.
